Introduction

The Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) require that a health and safety file is collated for all construction projects involving more than one contractor. The file is intended to be used to facilitate, future operation, cleaning, maintenance, alternations and demolition activities so they can be undertaken safely.

This course will provide the knowledge for preparing a health and safety file on behalf of the client and to understand which information is relevant and information that is not.

Construction Safety Solutions have many years of experience working with project teams and contractors to structure and ensure completed files contain relevant information and in a format that is easy to use and can be updated during the life time of the building.
